Apartment Inspiration

As some of you may know I recently moved into my own apartment! It's been an awesome experience so far: Cleaning my own messes, having guests over, & my absolute favorite- decorating. First, I love simplicity. The smallest things can really brighten up a room. I swear, flowers in a vase can completely change my mood. Also, I absolutely love journals. The only problem with me & journals is I never write in them. But other than that we have a pretty good relationship.

Since I've been on my own I go out a lot more. Now that I live closer to town I love just randomly leaving & going to a little antique shop or one of my favorite stores- hobby lobby- to walk around for inspiration. (: They are the perfect places to find little bird cages like this one below & hobby lobby is also where I bought my flowers! I add water in the vase to make it a little more realistic. (:
